Who wore it better?

I've had a lot fo free time to myself with the Man Cake off on a tropical vacation. While I am insanely jealous of the white sand and aqua water he is currently indulging in, I decided to take some time to work on myself. I reconnected with Noah, if you read "Scotland with a Stranger"  you know what a wise man he is. I've also discovered a woman named Irene Lyon. A nervous system and trauma healing expert. I've devoured some videos to help with the panic, fear, and anxiety that have been in my life since i could remember. Things are shifting and I know better days are ahead. I can feel an awakening happening. A new version of me is struggling to be born and I am beyond ready. Self-care is more than dewy skin and taking baths, it's releasing years of pain and struggle. It's shifting from victim to survivor mode. It's the most important battle of my life, conquering the space between my ears.

Inventing Anna. After loving Ruth on Ozark, I was excited to see her play a different part. It started out well, but man as it went on I started to hate the character and wonder who in their right mind would continue to sacrifice and support her. It dragged on way past an ending that would have been decent. I pushed myself to finish it, but after episode 5, I stopped caring about her. I did however love almost all the other characters especially the team of writers at Manhattan Magazine.

When Wren Came Out is at 35% written, and I am very happy with how the characters are developing. I am also 7% into the writing of my next travel memoir. I'm making the plans and have a killer cover idea. It's still top secret until after the trip, so I don't influence the direction it takes, but it is incredible to finally have a follow-up book to "Scotland with a Stranger." And Noah, one of readers favorite characters is making another appearance.

P.S. If you've read one of my books, can you help a struggling new author out? Reviews are gold and help me reach more people. Please take a minute and tell me (and other readers) what you thought. You can review on Amazon, Goodreads, Barnes and Noble, KOBO, and Apple Books or at any other bookseller. It's even better if you copy and paste the review to multiple places. More reviews=More visibility. You can write as much or as little as you want and I would be forever in your debt.
