Write My Name Across the Sky by Barbara O'Neal

This book had me from the first page. With strong female characters, set in New York and revolving around an art scandal, it was love at first sight.
I identified with Willow, the talented violinist, whose first album failed commercially. She talks about her failure and her friend corrects her. "No, Willow. No! It didn't fail. it went out into the world and found listeners and became what it is."
I have felt a similar struggle working hard and pouring myself into books that haven't quite found the audience I knew deep down in my heart they deserve.
This is a beautiful book.
