Why Kickstarter?
Because I want to bring this story directly to you (my readers) without handing over control (and most of the profits) to giant corporations.
When authors sell through Amazon, they often lose up to 70% of each sale to fees, printing costs, advertising and the platform’s cut. That means fewer resources for us to create the books you love, fewer chances to offer beautiful editions, and less ability to reward loyal readers with bonuses and extras. Amazon’s algorithms also decide who sees a book, often burying smaller, independent voices in favor of big publishing houses.
