The Guncle by Steven Rowley

The Guncle. Great read. 5 Stars. I adored this book for so many reasons. First it accurately features a queer man with rarely seen insight into the nuances of truthful LGBTQIA+ relationships. GUP (Gay Uncle Patrick) takes in his niece and nephew after the loss of their mother. It's a beautiful story that will stick with you. I hope this one become a movie, because as I was reading it, I heard Daniel Levy in my ear. It's a sweet bittersweet journey of navigating loss that everyone will enjoy.
